Jill Greene Fountain, 42, of Watha left this life for her eternal rest on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center.

She was born July 18, 1970 in Marion County, SC; daughter of Frances Ammons Greene of Lumberton and the late George Billy Jackson and Billy Lewis Greene.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her devoted husband of 19 years, Kenneth R. Fountain of Watha; children, Caroline Elizabeth Fountain and Jameson Paul Fountain of Watha; sisters, Vickie Elliot of Duford, SC and Sandy Mercure of Lumberton; maternal grandmother, Florence Ammons of Mullens, SC; special nieces, Madison and Savannah Mercure; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dallas and Annette Fountain of Willard; sister-in-law, Teresa Fountain of Wilmington; her loving canine companion, Harley and numerous friends who dearly loved Jill.

Jill was a loving wife and caring mother who loved her family dearly. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. With a joyful spirit, she filled her home with love and welcomed all who entered. During the times of Jill’s illness, she never gave up on God, her family or herself. Jill’s family is grateful to God for her life and for your friendship and prayers.

A memorial service will be at 4:00pm on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Friendly Community Baptist Church 1730 US Hwy 117, Burgaw, NC with Pastors Phillip Jones and Aaron Cramer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior the service.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be sent for Caroline and Jameson Fountain Educational Fund, c/o Kenneth Fountain Special Account to any NC State Employees Credit Union Branch.
