Beth Middleton Phillips February 25, 2010

Beth Middleton Phillips, age 83, of Wallace died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Milford & Reba Quinn Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 10, 1926 in Brantley County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Downing Talmadge and Mary Frances Robertson Middleton. She was also predeceased by her husband, Dr. H. A. Phillips.

Surviving are her loving children, Curtis Middleton Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia, Harley Angus Phillips, Jr. and wife, Becky and Michael D. Phillips and wife, Debbie, all of Wallace; grandchildren, Georgia Middleton Phillips Farrior, Megan Phillips, Curtis Middleton Phillips, Jr., Harley Phillips Blanton, McKenzie Elizabeth Phillips, Chelsea Nicole Phillips, Mallory Becca Phillips, Leslie Downing Phillips and Chanel Farrell Phillips and great granddaughter, Windsor Middleton Farrior.

Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Wallace United Methodist Church with the Reverend Benjamin E. Wells officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service on Saturday until 1:00 pm at Wallace United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Carolina East Home Care and Hospice, PO Box 887, Kenansville, NC 28349.

Beth was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She was selfless; always putting the needs of others before herself. Beth will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love, service and hope will live on for generations to come.
