Infant Melisa Salazar Hernandez June 29, 2010

Melisa Salazar Hernandez, age 5 months and 17 days, infant daughter of Sofia Hernandez Gomez and Juan Salazar Bautista of Rocky Point died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her brothers, Michael Salazar Hernandez and Carlos Salazar Hernandez; grandmother,Teresa Gomez Lopez; God parents, Haron Angel Santiago and Felicitas Martinez and uncles, Efrain Hernandez and Salomon Santiago.

On wings of an angel Melisa flew to her Heavenly home. She is now singing, playing and running around the Heavenly gardens. No worry, no cares … just completely happy and at peace.

The Lord said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not you heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

"Family and friends, hold me in your heart, but remember I am loved, cared for and very happy here. God is taking loving care of me and He will take care of you until we meet again and be together forever."

Graveside service will be 4:00 pm Thursday at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha with Father Robert Kus officiating.
