Faye Louise Brewer English July 04, 2010

Faye Louise English, age 81, of Ivanhoe passed gently from her earthly life Sunday, July 4, 2010 at her home.

She was born June 1, 1929 in Winston-Salem and was the daughter of the late William McKinley Brewer and Beatrice Carter Brewer Hemric. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Daniel English, Sr. and one grandson.

Surviving are her children, David Danny English of the home; Jeanette English of Wilmington, Patricia Evans of Wallace, Bobby English of Harrells, Doris Brown of Wallace, Jerry English of Willard, Sue English of Wilmington, Tony English of Harrells and Donna English of Rocky Point; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one brother, Bobby Brewer of Fayetteville.

Louise loved her family more than life and was the best mama, grandma, sister and friend that anyone could ask for. She loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours working in her garden and flowers. Being a diligent and hard worker, Louise was always busy giving her all to whatever endeavors that she undertook. In addition to caring for her family she worked for over 20 years as a CNA with Pender Adult Services. Louise’s life was dedicated to helping and caring for others. Precious memories of Louise will forever remain in our hearts.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Peniel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Ross Cavanaugh officiating.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw and at other times will be at the residence of Faye Louise English.
