Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home of Burgaw, Wallace and Wilmington invites family and friends of those they have served during the year of 2011 to attend a Service of Remembrance which will be held in the Quinn McGowen Wallace Chapel. Family members are invited to share a memory during the service if they desire. An angel ornament bearing the name of each loved one will be presented to each family. Additional ornaments may be purchased.
On Saturday, December 3, 2011, Boy Scout Troop 242 of Burgaw will place and light over 2000 candles along the drives of Riverview Memorial Park. This magnificent display of lights takes place annually in remembrance of all who have been laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park. We invite family, friends and community members to come at 5:30 p.m. and remember these lives. We will begin with a memorial service and music followed by refreshments, hot cocoa and coffee. This service is hosted by Riverview Memorial Park and Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home.*
On Saturday, December 10, 2011, Rockfish Memorial Cemetery will host a Candlelight Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m. with over 1000 lighted candles lining the drives of the Cemetery. Family, friends and community members are invited to attend this service and remain for refreshments and coffee. This brilliant display of lights takes place annually in remembrance of all who have been laid to rest in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery. We invite family, friends and community members to come and remember these lives. *
