Amon "Pete" Hall Obituary

Amon Bewford Hall, 81, of Willard passed from his earthly life Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at his home.

He was born September 8, 1937 in Pender County, one of six children born to Albert Richard and Geneva Faircloth Hall. In addition to his parents, Amon was preceded in death by his sister, Priscilla Louise Hall Sanderson and two infant siblings.

Amon is survived by his sister, Jeronia Hall Watkins and her husband, John David; brother, Richard Carl Hall and his wife, Judy; many nieces and nephews; cousin, Heather Melvin; special friends, Steve and Lynn Dee Skinner; best friend, Greg Register; many extended family and friends.

Since the age of 15 years old, Amon has been employed with A. C. Skinner Construction where he was a loyal and valued employee.

Being an animal lover, through the years Amon took in all kinds of animals; ducks, geese, peacocks, cats, and dogs. He also enjoyed a day of fishing in God’s beautiful world of nature. Most of all Amon was a good brother and loved his family.  Amon’s presence on this earth will be missed.

Amon will be laid to rest with his family in the Daniel Hall Family Cemetery in Autryville at a later date.

Amon’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the Skinner family for all they have done for Amon through the years.
