Grace M. Lieseke, 28 of Nashville, TN (formerly of Wilmington, NC) died tragically on May 29, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Grace was born on July 31, 1990 in Wilmington, NC to Donny and Lynn Bennett Lieseke. Grace graduated from John T. Hoggard High School in 2008 and was currently attending Nashville State Community College with the goal of pursuing a career in nursing.
Grace was a warm free-spirit, loving life with her sparkling, animated nature. She wore a smile on her face for everyone she met. In her youth she was active in dance and cheerleading even doing back handsprings down the entire football field when JTH won the football state championship in 2007.
Among her favorite activities were attending concerts, and exploring the outdoors. Her life-long happy place was the beach. She enjoyed holidays and celebrations always doing her best to make her loved ones feel special. Grace loved being with others. This was especially true when it came to her son, Kamden Thomas Kehoe, aged 7. From the time Kam was born, he was the center of her world and the joy of her life.
In addition to her parents and son, Grace is also survived by her brother, Evan and her sister, Jenna. They are joined by her paternal and maternal grandmothers, Peggy Haynie and Sheila Howard and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Grace was predeceased by her son's father, Kyle Kehoe.
Also left to cherish her memory is her long-time love, Jason Turpin.
Our hearts are broken over this tremendous loss. Grace was a devoted mother, daughter and sister. She had a huge heart and she enjoyed helping others. She set an excellent example for her son. She will be dearly missed but she lives on in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7PM Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington with Pastor Nate Stratman officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
