Ezzell; daughters, Barbara Ezzell Henderson (Scott) and Elaine Ezzell Gibson (Barry); step-daughters, Donna Ann Batson and Dorothy Lea Williamson (Stuart); nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one great granddaughter due to arrive in the Spring; siblings, Raymond “Bud” Ezzell, Linwood Ezzell (Joyce), Travis Ezzell, Hilda Rivenbark (Jerry), Linda Brogden, and Robert Ezzell (Doris); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jack was raised in the catholic faith and kept his belief in the Lord all of his life. He proudly served his country honorably in the US Navy, serving in Vietnam as a Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Jack was a true gentleman; quiet in manner, steadfast in loyalty and loving to his family. Many will remember Jack’s frequent walks to Burgaw Post Office and the Scotchman Store, where he sat at the picnic table chatting with friends. His gentle smile, pristine white beard, and his interest in the world around him will be remembered.
