Ronald Collier Obituary

Ronald Ray Collier, age 70, of Wallace passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, June 19, 2019  at his home.

He was born on September 4, 1948 in Wilson, NC and was the son of the late  Gray Thomas and Dorothy Capps Collier. He was also predeceased by his only brother, Jarvis Collier.

Mr. Collier proudly served his country in US Army and was a member of Wallace First Assembly of God Church.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 22 years, Judy Piner Collier; daughter, Kayla Bradshaw and husband, David of Wallace; and his pride and joy, Allison Bradshaw, Jarrette Bradshaw and Savannah Bradshaw; nephews, Jeffery Collier and wife, Kristi, their daughter, Jana, Brantley Tokoly and Heidi, their daughter, Piner Kate and niece, Amberly Hall and husband, Nolan, their children, Asher and Mayes as well as extended family and friends that loved Ray dearly.

Ray was a loving husband and caring father and grandfather.  He enjoyed the simplest things in life, but his greatest joy was family.   He loved his wife dearly and his grandchildren, Allison, Jarrette and Savannah were the apple of his eyes; each one brought him great joy.  Being man with great work ethics, Ray was a hard worker and he believed in taking care of what he worked so hard for.  He enjoyed playing golf, boating and playing with his grandchildren.  He took great pride in his immaculate yard and in his vehicles.  Most of all, Ray loved his Lord and his life was a great example of God’s unconditional love.  Ray will surely be missed but cherish memories of him will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
