Amy Paulette Ward passed away, November 3, 2017.

She was born on May 29, 1967 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

Amy came to the Wilmington area when she was five years old. She worked at Cape Fear Hospital and Verizon Wireless. Amy loved God and was an active member of both Federal Point Pentecostal and Solid Rock Pentecostal church.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Thomas and father, Nestor Santiago.
Left to remember Amy are her husband of twenty-two years, David Ward; son, Timothy Capps (Heather) of Wilmington; daughter, Sarah Ward of Wilmington; step-father, Ronald Thomas; step-mother, Rosin Rivera of Puerto Rico; brother, Andrew Santiago of Wilmington; sisters, Ivette Santiago of Wilmington and Eliannette Santiago of Puerto Rico, and granddaughters, Caitlyn and Kiera.

A visitation will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday November 7, 2017 at Federal Point Pentecostal Church. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Evangelist Betty Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park
