Clyde Milton Ballard, 82, of Wilmington, NC passed away August 14, 2017.

He was born November 30, 1935 in Hopewell, VA to the late Linwood Ballard and Mary Louise Griffith Bache.

Clyde loved fishing, cooking, and singing to his grandchildren. He was a generous man who was always eager to help those in need. He provided a loving home to his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyne Ballard; brother, Kenneth Ballard, and grandson, Stephen Ballard.

Left to cherish his memory are son, Kirk Ballard, Sr. (Melissa) of King George, VA; daughter, Pamela Jameson of Rocky Point, NC ; son-in-law, Richard "Ricky" Jameson of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Richard Ballard and Rodney Ballard; sisters, Sandra Powell, Linda Evans (David), and Darlene Cupples; grandchildren, Tameeka Rodgers, Amanda Jameson, Ricki Jameson, and Kirk Ballard, Jr; as well as many great-grandchildren.
