Alice Faye Manore, 73, of Atkinson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 as she was surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born April 22, 1940, the daughter of the late Ralph and Aileen Ammons Williams. Also remembered are her son, Philippe Manore and brother, Lloyd Dale Herring, both who preceded Faye in death.

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Calvin C. Manore; children, Christie and Rex Gray, Patsy and Eddie Brinson, Julie and Randy Russell, Vickie and Brian Carter, Jeanette Manore, and Michael Manore; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter, siblings, Pat and Bill Prescott, Bill and Jo Flowers, and Ed Herring; and extended family and friends.

Faye was a member of United Faith Fellowship in Atkinson where she loved and praised the Lord.

A Celebration of Faye's life will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with The Rev. Don Yerby officiating. Burial will follow in Atkinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
