By career, Bonnie was a waitress, retiring after working for many years at Stop 3 Truck Stop in Spiceland, IN. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Not only was Bonnie a beloved wife and wonderful mother, grandmother "Nanny" and sister; but a generous friend to all who knew her. Bonnie never met a stranger wherever she and Harold went in all their travels through out the United States. Bonnie was a great cook and created a home filled with love. In her quiet time, Bonnie enjoyed reading. She brought a great deal of grace, charm and love into this world and into the lives of her grandchildren. Bonnie's joy in life will not be forgotten by those who lived around her.
