Anna Lisa Harts Blanford, age 47, of Rocky Point passed from her earthly life to her heavenly home on Friday, May 25, 2012 at her home.

She was born October 30, 1964 in Pender County and was a graduate of Pender High School.

Lisa is survived by her loving family, her parents, William "Tink" and Linda Kay Deal Harts of Rocky Point; her sister, Terry Harts Mathis of Rocky Point; nephew, Jamie Mathis; her beloved canine companion, Homer; and many extended family and friends.

Lisa was a member of Cora's Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Lisa loved her family and was a blessing to her parents, sister and nephew. Being a loving and giving person, she always put others before herself. Her beautiful smile would light up any room she entered and brought much joy to others. She loved animals and was a great protector of them. Lisa's strong Christian faith sustained her and carried her through a lengthy illness. Lisa was a blessing to this world and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Cora's Grove P.F.W.B. Church with The Rev. Baris Lanier and The Rev. W. E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Casketbearers will be Mike Deal, Chris Deal, Jamie Mathis, Sean Mathis, Russell Morris, Cody Harts and Allen Butler.

The family will receive friends 2 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Cora's Grove P.F.W.B. Church and at other times at the home of Tink and Linda Harts.
