Annie Lee Mills Anderson, 84, of Kelly died Monday, August 18, 2014 at her home.

She was born August 18, 1930 in Onslow County, the daughter of the late Herman Ander and Mattie Lee Turner Mills. Also remembered is her husband, Hulan Anderson and her sister, Margaret Mills, both who preceded Annie Lee in death.

Annie Lee is survived by her son, H. Ashley Anderson, Sr.; grandchildren, Hulan Ashley Anderson, Jr. and Amber Dawn Jennings; great grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Noah Anderson, Annabella Hansen and Noelle Hansen; sisters, Alice Macory, Louise Mills and Yvonne Mills; brother, Ernest Mills; and many nieces and nephews.

Annie Lee loved her family and was the rock that held her family together. She loved the Lord and had a blessed Christian spirit. Annie Lee's dog, Miley, was a joy in her life. She also had ducks, geese and other wildlife just outside her door that were a pleasure for her on a daily basis. Annie Lee's beautiful smile, gentle laughter and caring manner will be greatly missed. Cherished memories of Annie Lee will forever remain in our hearts.

To follow Annie Lee's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home and a graveside funeral service will be held for family and close friends. Annie Lee will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.

The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Amber Jennings.
