Annie Evelyn Rooks, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2019.

She was born May 6, 1939 in Wilmington, NC to the late Thomas and Alverta Rooks.

Left to remember her are her sons, Wayne Spooner and his wife Bobbie and Brian Spooner; daughter Nita Edwards and her husband Bruce; sister, Julia Blanton; and grandchildren, Zachary Zarynoff and Abigail Zarynoff.

A private inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
