Archie Allen Jones, age 61, of Hampstead and formerly of Wallace left this life for his eternal rest on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from Golden Care Rest Home.

He was born on September 9, 1955 in Duplin County and was the son of the late Horace and Emma Grey Page Jones. Also loving remembered is his brother, Mickey Jones.

Surviving is his son, Jason Piner of Watha; his brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Jones and wife, Jane of Willard and sister, Sharon Jones Brinkley and husband, Buren of Wallace.

Allen was a kind and gentle man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed being a long distance truck driver as long as his health permitted. With a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed spending hours outside in God's beautiful world. Allen will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

At Allen's request a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
