Arlene Trepp Black, age 86, of Wallace passed from this life to her eternal rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Wallace Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on April 4, 1940, in Boulder Colorado to the late Wilbert and Evelyn Peterson Trepp.  Arlene was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Frederick William Black; their son Frederick "Skip" Black and granddaughter Kayla Hitchcock.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters  Kelly Button and her husband Bruce of Wallace, North Carolina, Shelly Hewett and her husband David of Wilmington, North Carolina and Denise Brzenk and her husband Kevin of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Joshua Nicol, Stephanie Nicol, Molly Punk (Tony), Hunter Black, Samantha Caldwell (Raymond), Tiffany Brzenk, Janelle Button, Brittany Black and Caison Button; great grandchildren Luca, Carter, Jesse, Daniel, Keith, Ryan, Collins, Aurora and Lanie; brother Donald Trepp (Dianna) of Colorado; numerous extended family and friends that love Arlene dearly.

Arlene was loving mother and caring grandmother and sister who loved her family with all her heart.  She enjoyed spending time with each of them during the years when her health permitted.  During her banking years, Arlene acquired a wide circle of friends and acquaintances that made her world  an even better place to live. She enjoyed people and would do anything she could for others.  Arlene will surely be missed but treasured memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Moore Funeral Home in Browns Mills, New Jersey will be handling Arlene's services.
