Aubrey Carl James, age 78, of Wilmington passed away August 6, 2018. He was born on March 24, 1940 in Lake City, SC to the late Aubrey James and Ida Chandler.

He was a good father and loving husband. He enjoyed watching westerns and listening to all kinds of music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael James.
Left to remember him are his wife of 28 years, Linda Joyce James; daughters, Karen Frank (Tim) of Leland, NC and Brinda McKinney (Tim) of Leland, NC; step-son Ronald Lee Allen (Angie) of Wilmington, NC; step-daughter, Linda Michele Reedy of Wilmington, NC; brother, John Franklin James (Sara Beth) of Florence, SC; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
