Audrey McLaurin Gower of Wilmington, NC died peacefully in her sleep at Azalea Health & Rehab on Monday, November 18, 2013.

She was born March 1, 1919 in Cumberland County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Lillie McLaurin. She was preceded in death by her husband Haywood, her son Ray, seven brothers, two sisters and a son-in-law Pastor Graham Reynolds.

Audrey is survived by her two daughters Gail Ridley (Pastor Gene) and Connie Reynolds-Bowman (Larry), grandchildren Wendy and Chris Royal (Julia), Stuart and Amy Reynolds (Worth and Lila), Jaime and Brian Preuss (Josh, Zach Nick), Chris and Tiffany Gower and Stephen Ridley (Sabrina and Zackary).

Audrey was a long time member of Long Leaf Baptist Church. She was known for her sweet, loving, caring heart and her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Long Leaf Baptist Church followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Eugene Ridley. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
