Barbara Ann Bostelman, 84, of Wilmington, NC passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

She was born April 14, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Herman Begelman and Catherine (Natale) Begelman.

Barbara, the longtime matriarch of the family, was an Interior Designer and an award-winning quilter. She enjoyed her friends at Cambridge Village, knitting, puzzles and games.  Barbara was an avid card and bingo player. She loved decorating and interior design.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved all animals, especially her dog, Cooper.

Besides her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her husband, Roy Bostelman.

Barbara is survived by her son, Mitchell Bostelman and wife, Tri; daughters, Lisa Bradfield and husband, Stephen, Tracy Green and husband, Charles; brother, Robert Begelman and wife, Arlene; sister, Janet Signorelli and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Elliott Bostelman, Eliza Bostelman, Christopher Bradfield, Lauren Gibson and husband, John, Matthew Bradfield, Emily Green and Bailey Green; great-grandchildren, Azriel Gibson, Adaline Gibson, and Juliana Green.
