Barbara Ann Zurcher White, 69, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed gently from her earthy life Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Novant Medical New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 8, 1952 in Georgetown, SC, the daughter of Leman Leo Zurcher and Carlean Little Zurcher.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy White; daughter, Shasta White; son, Tommy White III and his wife, Patience; grandsons, Thomas White and Nickolas McLean; brothers, Spencer Zurcher, Wayne Zurcher, Dale Zurcher, and Shelton Zurcher and his wife, Rosie; many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a friendly, giving and sharing lady who always put others before herself. She was all about family and one hundred percent dedicated to them. Barbara will be forever missed, but she always will remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel.

A private family graveside service will be conducted at Riverview Memorial Park.
