Becky Jo Tart Foy, 72, passed from this life to her eternal rest on Thursday, December 3, 2015.

She was born May 7, 1943 in Johnston County and was the daughter of the late Upton and Mary Brock Tart. She was also predeceased by her husband, Billy Foy and brothers, Henry and Dwight Tart.

Surviving are her devoted sons, Ed Foy and William Foy; sisters, Julia Jarman, Pamela Tart and Leigh Collins and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Becky Jo was a loving mother and caring sister. She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was family. She was a hard worker at home and at Holt Hosiery where she was employed for approximately 30 years. With a gentle spirit and an upbeat personality, Becky Jo loved people and was loved in return. She was a jokester and enjoyed making others laugh. She was not only a mother and sister, but also a true friend. Becky Jo will surely be missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace with visitation immediately following the service.
