Benjamin "Ben" Scott Faircloth, age 44, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

He was born on March 16, 1978 in Wilmington, NC to the late Clyde Ernest Faircloth, Jr. and Sheila (Stutler) Faircloth.

Ben was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also an avid song writer and a true believer in God. Ben enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and writing music. He liked to tell stories and make people laugh. Most of all, Ben loved his family and spending time with them.

Ben is survived by his wife, Melissa Bordeaux Faircloth; son, Benjamin Faircloth II; stepdaughter, Madison Brown; sister, Jennifer Wissman and husband, Jay; grandchild, Kai; and his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde "Buddy" Ernest Faircloth, III.

A memorial service will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 1pm with Pastors Raymond Faircloth, Sr. and Raymond Faircloth, Jr. officiating and the U.S. Navy performing military funeral honors.
