Benjamin Albert Williams, 69, of Rocky Point passed gently from his earthly life on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home.

He was born December 4, 1948 in Wilmington, NC, the son of the late Samuel Alexander Williams and Mildred Pridgen Williams.

Ben is survived by his wife, Kathy Williams; sons, Ben Williams (Rachel) and Chandler Williams; stepchildren, Paul Marshburn and Nicole Marshburn; grandchildren, Benny Williams, Rylan Marshburn, and Summer Marshburn-Tenick; niece, Clarice Lavendure and nephew, Phillip Williams.

Ben served his community as a law enforcement officer, working in Pinehurst, Carolina Beach and Burgaw. Most recently he worked and retired from Corning, Inc.

He loved his family and was a good husband, daddy, granddaddy, and uncle. Ben's presence on this earth and especially in his home will be greatly missed.

There will be a family gathering at a later date.
