Billie Katherine “Kathy” Cherry, 79, a kind, thoughtful and gracious lady passed from her earthly life Saturday, June 20, 2026 at her home surrounded with love and family.

She was born March 4, 1947 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Billy Rowell Lennon and Toie Elizabeth Perry Lennon.

The graveside funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Riverview Memorial Park with Pastor Adam Kord conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
