Blondell Foley Norris, age 76, of Wallace died Monday, July 30, 2007 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Norris was born June 26, 1931 in Robeson County and was the daughter of the late Rembert and Tolla Cox Foley. She was also predeceased by her husband, Issac Beatty Norris; her son, Danny Mears and her sister, Janet Williams.

Surviving are her loving children, Teresa Brinkley and Sylvia Thompson, both of Wallace, Deannia Mears of Philadelphia, PA, Douglas Mears and wife, Nancy of Wallace and Ricky Mears of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Brandy Brinkley, Kasey Smith, Rodderick Mears, Alvis Earl Hines, Rhonda Hines, Earl Gray Odom, Mark Odom and Rebecca Fussell; two great grandchildren; sister, Ina Ruth Jones and husband, Bill of Bay Tree Lakes; brother, Ronald Foley and wife, Elizabeth of Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Rodney Bonham officiating.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace and other times at the home of Doug and Nancy Mears.
