Bonnie Sue Brock McNeil, age 50, of Wallace died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 1, 1959 in Hampton, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clarence Ivey and Carolyn McDonald Brock.

Surviving are her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Greg McNeil and daughter, Michelle McNeil, both of the home; sister, Lynn Hatcher and husband, Bart, of Willard; brother, Bobby Brock and wife, Becky, of Chinquapin; special nephews and niece, Shaun Brock, Cody Hatcher, Landin Brock and Lindsay Hatcher; great niece and nephew, Taylor Murphy and Kyle Murphy; and numerous friends who loved her very much.

Bonnie was a special lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She was a diligent worker and always went beyond her call of duty to help others. Being loved by all who knew her, she will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Peniel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace and other times at the McNeil's residence.
