Allen
Mar 17, 1971 — Oct 8, 2022
US Marine Corps/Army National Guard, Brett H. Allen - age 51, made his journey into his next phase of life October 8, 2022..
Brett Allen, was born March 17, 1971, in Fayetteville, NC. to Ronald Lee Allen and Parlie Ann Allen. Brett is preceded in death by his father, Ronald; his mother, Parlie Ann Allen; and his grandparents.
Brett is survived by his wife, Melissa Allen; and his sons, Nathan Allen, Logan Allen and Dustan Kontul; his brother, Steven Allen; along with many extended family members including, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
He proudly served his patriotic duty for our country in the United States Marine Corps and received many medals, ribbons, awards, and badges throughout his service. He was affectionately known by many, a brave man at his finest, serving overseas and in Iraq. He loved his country fiercely! He had many adventures in life and was bravely wild at heart.
Brett met and fell in love with his wife of 24 years. He lovingly took on being a dad to her infant son, and together they brought into this world two sons of their own to complete their family. He passionately loved his family and the adventures he had with them. His favorite hobbies were: baseball, bowling, golf, gold mining, camping, traveling, and collecting old military models and sports cards. He loved spending time out on the waters for fishing trips - deep sea trips were his favorite, just having time with nature in general with his family.
He was a huge fan of his boys' sports years when they were younger. He always encouraged them to do their best and supported them with his all. He was his most proud watching each of them walk across the graduation stage. He was very proud of the men they are and yet to become. His fondest memories were all of the moments he could make and the time spent with his family. The bonds that were built are binding, his love will be deeply missed.
