Brian Cedrice White, age 47, of Watha died Friday, February 13, 2009 at his home.

He was born August 25, 1961 in Elizabeth City and was the son of Melvin C. White of Watha and Fredia Raynor White of Wilmington.

Brian loved his family dearly and showed it in his own quiet way. His warm heart and gentle spirit will for ever remain in our hearts.

In addition to his parents Brian is survived by his sister, Anne Marie White of Wilmington; niece, Haley May; nephew, Jeremy Rivenbark and his wife, Kim, and their children, Kirsten and Brayden Rivenbark.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Watha United Methodist Church with The Rev. Norman Wheeler officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Glenn Anderson, Randy Anderson, Lawrence Mills, Arnold Marshburn, Willis Watson and Hershel Rivenbark.

The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Brian White's residence.
