Bruce Edward Chesley was truly a special and remarkable man who made a lasting positive impression on all those who knew and worked with him. After 56 short, wonderful years his earthly life ended on Monday, April 13, 2026 at his home surrounded by the love of his family.

A time of gathering of family and friends to share fond memories will be forthcoming.

Currently Bruce was employed with GE Aerospace – Wilmington where he had formed many lasting friendships with his co-workers.

Bruce was born March 8, 1970 in Claremont, New Hampshire, the son of the late Thomas Richard Chesley and Maxine Lorraine Holt Chesley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Chesley; son, Ryan Fredette (Faith); daughters, Bethany Fredette (Arynn Hass), Allyson Fredette (Cody Farinoli), and Brook Tuz (Delvin Tuz); grandchildren, Destiny, Ava, Reilley, Everleigh, and CJ; brothers, Tom Chesley and Mike Chesley (Cathy); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers Terri suggests that you consider a contribution to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 in honor and memory of Bruce.
