Bruce was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and extended family members.  He was a talented brick mason who worked hard and took great pride in his work.   Bruce enjoyed simple things in life like cooking, growing a garden, or just sitting in the outside under a tree. With a big heart, he loved unconditionally.  Bruce loved and treated his stepchildren as he did his own; in fact, he considered them 'his own'.  Bruce and Jeanette were quite a pair.  Their love was exceptional; life was not always easy, but they were devoted to each other and their family.  They raised their children to love each other as they loved each other.  Most of all, Bruce loved the Lord and is now at peace after a long illness.  He will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved Bruce.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Piner Family Cemetery with Roy Dean Bowen conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the home of Rita Fay and David Garriss in Watha.
