Buford H. Light of Leland, formerly of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carmen Light; daughter, Sarah and son-in-law, Philip Palmer.  Mr. Light had two grandchildren, Parker and Preston.

Mr. Light served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After 42 years of service he retired from the Federal Government.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Old River Farms, 8711 Old River Road, Burgaw.
