Cal Ray Rogers, Sr., 57, of Burgaw, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

He was born on January 26, 1963, in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Franklin R. Rogers Jr. and Priscilla Mae (Ray) Rogers.

Cal and his family moved to North Carolina in 1976. Cal loved Nascar racing and watching football. Most of all, he loved his boat. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, grandchildren, nephew and nieces.

In addition to his parents, Cal was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin "Pete" Raymond Rogers III.

Cal is survived by his sons, Cal Ray Rogers, Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Travis Rogers; his sisters, Charme McGinn and husband, Sean, Priscilla Rogers and husband, Dennis; his grandchildren, Kayson, Tinsley, Easton, Hanley and Kambri; his nephew, Cole; and his nieces, Hilary, Ashley, Reese, and Aleigha.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service.
