Calvin Vonzie Hall, Jr., 60, of Kelly passed from his earthly life on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center.

He was born September 11, 1954 in Pender County, the son of the late Calvin Vonzie and Beulah Mae Croom Hall. Also lovingly remembered is his wife, Zadie Vernon Hall who died May 1, 2015.

Calvin is survived by his sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Hall; Zadie's family, Martha Vernon, Ann Robinson (Edgar); David Earl Vernon, Jr. (Rose); Jesse R. "JR" Vernon (Karen); and many extended family and friends.

For many years Junior worked for Larry's Tire service and most recently operated a country store both in Currie. Junior was a kind and gentle man who dearly loved his wife, Zadie. Through many years of illness he rarely complained and worked as long as he was physically able. Junior will be remembered for his gentle laughter and warm heart.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 - 4pm Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the home of Edgar and Martha Ann Robinson.
