Carolyn Lee Fowler, 79, passed gently from her earthly life Sunday, August 30, 2026 at home.

She was born February 6, 1947 in Lumberton and was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Billy Fowler and her mother, Elsie Singletary Hammonds.

Carolyn is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Tammy Caison (Timothy); grandchildren, Billy John Blanton (Ashley) and Christopher Shane Olsen (Christine); great grandchildren, Sierra Blanton, Skylar Blanton, Lucille Blanton, Isabella Olsen, and Brantley; sister, Shirley Lewis (Allen); several nieces, nephews, and extended family members all who loved Carolyn. Not to be forgotten is her beloved Caine companion, Fifi.

Carolyn was a quiet lady with many interests – reading, fishing, and bird watching. She was a kind and compassionate person and spent much of her life caring for others as a nursing assistant. Most of all she was loving and proud of her closeknit family. Carolyn was loved and will be fondly remembered forever.
