Cecil Doyle Henderson, Jr., 70, of Maple Hill was welcomed into his heavenly home on Saturday, April 16, 2022 by his beloved parents, Cecil  and Lora Mae, his nephew, Alex and other family members.

He was born January 1, 1952, the son of Cecil D. Henderson, Sr. and Lora Mae Jones Henderson.

C D is survived by his sister, Jacki Humphrey (Raymond); brothers, Gerald Henderson (Becky), Albert Henderson and Greggory Henderson; and many nieces and nephews.

C D loved his family in his own special way and was a good brother and uncle. One may think C D was a bit rough on the outside, but underneath he had a heart of gold. C D was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Lanier and Meadows Cemetery with the Rev. Micky Cox conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
