Cecile Lucille Roberts, age 80, of Leland passed away on October 24, 2019. She was a sweet and gentle spirit who believed Jesus was always with her.

Cecile was born October 5, 1939 to the late Cecil and Jessie (Blizzard) Mays. She worked for Phar-Mor Cosmetics for twelve years. She loved watching her soap operas, the Hallmark channel, and Joel Osteen. Cecile would help anyone out. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Roberts, Sr. and her son, Jerry C. Roberts.

Left to remember her are sons, Richard K. Roberts, Jr and his wife Helen and Ted W. Roberts; brother, James F. Mays; and Nieces and Nephews Juanita Burriss, Linda Lohman, Ronald Mays and Robert Mays.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Living Water Ministry in Ogden, NC. Pastor Rick Crocker will officiate.
