Charity Jonae Butler, infant daughter of Sherry and John Butler, Jr passed away July 14, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Charity was the youngest child of JB & Sherry Butler. She is survived by four older siblings. Her three surviving Sisters are Esther Faith Butler (1years old), Lila Virgie Brooks (9years old), Taylor Allison Butler (17years old), and her only surviving Brother is Harley Lynn Miller (13years old). She is also survived by her Father: Bishop John (JB) Butler, Jr. Her Mother: Evangelist Sherry Lynn Butler. Her Grandparents: Wanda Butler, Pastor John Butler, Sr., Mary Kathleen Butler, Gloria Gibson, Barry Adkins, and Linda Adkins. Charity's surviving Great-grandparents are: Jeanette Cumber & Loraine Justice. Coming from a very large close-knit family, Charity also leaves behind countless Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

The Butler family would like to thank everyone that is here, and who has showed your support throughout this very trying time. The unconditional love, prayers, kindness, gifts, and donations that you have supplied to us has pierced the veil of grief that was hanging over us and touched our hearts. You have truly showed us the importance of true and meaningful friendships, relationships, and family. We would also like to offer an extra special thank you to my wife's employers and co-workers at Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear, Brenda Cahill of Quinn McGowen Funeral Home, Michael & Annie Gagnier, Pastor Daniel Cook of The Sanctuary of Wilmington, the nursing staff on the first floor of the Betty H. Cameron Women & Children's Facility at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and all of our closest family & friends who worked around the clock to comfort us during the worst week of our life. Each of you know who you are, and we want you to know that we love and appreciated you and everything that you've done.
