Charles Allen Caison, Jr. passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 from his battle with lung cancer.  He was born May 13, 1957 in Pender County to Charles Allen Caison, Sr. and Nadia Hulak Caison.

Charles was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by a sister, Sandra Caison; brothers Michael Caison (Cindy) and Jeffrey Caison (Kim); nieces Stephanie Burns (Chris) and Samantha Rivenbark (Austin); great-nephews Rookie Burns, Luke Burns and Maverick Burns; and loyal friend, Carl Owen.

In recent years Charles operated a successful courier service which carried him to all 48 contiguous states as well as Mexico and Canada.  He lived life on the road and by his own terms.  Charles had a gift for music and taught himself to play the guitar, banjo and mandolin.  He enjoyed playing bluegrass music.

As Charles requested, there will be no formal service.  His family will honor his wish to scatter his ashes in two locations that he often visited while on the road.
