Charles Daniel
Rowe
Oct 22, 1945 — Jul 5, 2022
Charles Daniel Rowe, 76, of Wallace and formerly of Pender County passed from his earthly life Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
He was born October 22, 1945 in Pender County, the son of John Douglas Rowe and Frances Malpass Rowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Fay Johnson Rowe; sister, Martha Elizabeth Blake; and brothers, Don Pinkney "Pink" Rowe, John Royce Rowe and Adrian Rowe.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Constance Rowe; son, Stephen Daniel Rowe and his wife, Brandi; grandchildren, Joseph Rowe, Colton Rowe, and Ty Rowe; sisters, Rachel Saltzman, Millie Dodgens, and Carrie Belle Rowe; brother-in-law, John E. Johnson, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Charles served his country proudly in the US Air Force. He was a college graduate and highly intelligent. He was the type to listen and then go do his own thing. Charles respected God, his Country, and his wife, Connie. He loved to go deer hunting, fishing, and for early morning walks in the country. He voted in nearly every election. And he NEVER said how he voted, only "You can't complain if you didn't go vote!" Charles loved his family in his own way. He had a tight circle of friends that he thought highly of, and they loved him as well. He will be missed.
A family gathering to pay tribute to Charles will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the home of Stephen Rowe, 975 Sabbath Home Road, Supply, NC 28462.
