Obituary

Charlotte Normann Glover, age 55, of Havelock passed peacefully from her earthly life on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Havelock.

She was born May 17, 1957 in Fort Collins, Colorado and was the daughter of Irene Newton Normann of White Lake and the late James Arneson Normann.

In addition to her mother, Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Gary F. Glover; daughters, Mya Harrison Cruz of White Lake, Sarah Brooke Cross of Sneads Ferry and Megan Corinne Glover of Newport; granddaughters, Sierra Harrison, Kadence Stafford and Lilian Cross; sister, Cynthia Normann Pique (William) of Cape Coral, Florida; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Charlotte was currently a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Havelock Ward and a former member of the Whiteville Branch. As long as her health permitted she was active in the church and served as Sunday school teacher in Whiteville and Morehead City for a number of years.

Charlotte loved her family beyond measure and was a dedicated wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed genealogy, cross word puzzles, and Sudoku. She was active in her church through the years and was blessed with a love for the Lord and a faith that took her through an extended illness. Her love for the Lord and unwavering personal commitment to live her life by His Word was evident to all who knew her. Always with a smile on her face and a kind word to greet you, she set a positive example for her family to follow. She was a strong, courageous and gentle lady who brought out the good in all those who were near and dear to her. Cherished memories of Charlotte will remain in our hearts.
