Chris Stamatios Tsimbidis, age 89, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

He was born on April 2, 1934 in Ikaria, Greece to the late Stamatios Chrysanthos Tsimbidis and Lambrini Koklanaris Tsimbidis.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Tsimbidis; sons, Stephen Tsimbidis and Greg Tsimbidis (Leslie); sister, Vavi Parimerou; grandchildren, Christopher Gannotti, Amber Lea Tsimbidis, and Jeni Mitchell; seven great-grandchildren; niece, Katerina Parimerou; and many other nieces and nephews from Virginia to California.

In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his beloved son, Nicholas Tsimbidis; sisters, Maria Tsixlis and Chrissa Menegis; and brother Nick Tsimbidis.
