Christopher "Chris" Scott Foan, age 41, of Hampstead, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

He was born on September 1, 1979 in Richmond, VA to Gordon George Foan, Jr. and Patricia (Brookman) Foan.

Chris loved to shoot pool and cheer on the Washington Redskins and the Virginia Cavaliers. Most of all, Chris loved his son to the moon and back. He was a friendly, happy guy who never met a stranger. Chris was a bright light to many people and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his wife, Lindsay Thacker; son, Marshall Foan; brother, Michael Foan; sister, Stephanie Wallace and husband, Tim; nephew, Jacob Wallace; and nieces, McKenzie Wallace and Harper Wigley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 3pm with Pastor Jim Newkirk officiating.
