Christy Leigh Nabours, 40, of Burgaw passed from her earthly life on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

She was born October 4, 1972 and was the daughter of Linda Sue Herrin Nabours of Burgaw and the late Johnny Ray Nabours.

In addition to her mother, Christy is survived by her beloved daughter, Hannah Jones; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clint and Teresa Nabours of Burgaw and Shane and Robin Nabours of Wilmington; and extended family.

Christy was a sweet and loving mother, daughter and sister who was loved and will be tremendously missed.

A family gathering was held at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home on Thursday evening.
