Clark Lee Moore, age 59, of Rocky Point died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 11, 1949 in Junction City, Kansas and was the son of Leota Hall of Rocky Point and the late Dewain Hall.
Mr. Moore served his country honorably for over 21 years in the US Marine Corps. He served several tours of duty in Vietnam and received numerous commendations, including a Purple Heart. He was a faithful member of Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Betty Bell Moore of the home; sons, Dewain Hall (Tracy) of Rocky Point, Todd Hall (Emily) of Wilmington and James Lee Hall (Grace) of Rocky Point; daughters, Jerrie Hall (Bobby) of Rocky Point and Mariah LaMunyon of the home; eight grandchildren, Alaura, Kristen, Katy, Alyssa, Gina, Salina, Timmy and Logan; brother, Curtis Hall (Robin) of Rocky Point; and sisters, Dana LaGrange (Bob) of Hutchinson, Kansas and DeeAnn Hall of Grandview, Missouri.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008 at Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Randall Smith officiating.
Burial with full military honors accorded by the US Marine Corps Honor Guard will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Casketbearers will be Harry Turner, Jesse Hall, Chris Hall, Hunter Hall, Jimmy Bowden and James Hall.
The family will receive friends 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Burgaw.
