Claudia Kopacz Bullers

Claudia Kopacz Bullers passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 18, 2026, from complications of Huntington’s disease.

Claudia was born on October 4, 1958, in Sharpsville, PA to Mary and Ed Kopacz. She graduated from Grove City College in 1980 and soon after married her husband of 46 years, Brian Bullers. They, along with their three children, Alana, Katie and Donnie, moved from Pennsylvania to Wilmington, NC in 1991 and never regretted the decision to live on the coast. She always cherished mornings at the beach.

Claudia dedicated her life to teaching, first at her dance studio in Clarion, PA and then ending her career teaching business technology at Hoggard High School in Wilmington. In addition to her long career, Claudia loved spending time with her family and numerous pets over the years. Brian and Claudia are members of Lifepoint Church.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Edward Kopacz, and beloved aunt Alice Majorowski.

She is survived by her husband Brian Bullers and children Alana Joyner (David) of Roswell, GA, Katie Bullers (Jim) of Atlanta, GA, and Donnie Bullers (Bethany) of Wrightsville Beach,NC. She loved being “Mimi” to Jack, Layne, and Smith Bullers, and Will and Sarah Kate Joyner. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Loviscky (Chuck). She will be greatly missed by all.

A public visitation will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home (315 Willow Woods Dr) on August 8th 2026 from 3 to 5 pm.
