Clement John McKinney, age 58, of Hampstead, NC passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

He was born on October 23, 1963 in Ashtabula, OH to the late Leonard Gene McKinney and Janice Fern Myers McKinney.

Clement worked at GE for almost thirty years; he worked for their light bulb division when he lived in Rootstown, OH and then for GE Aviation of Wilmington for the past seven years. Clement was a fun guy who enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family. He was a giver who loved people and would sacrifice anything for his family. Clement was a devout Christian who loved The Lord and encouraged others to follow The Lord. He was a bright light to many people and will be dearly missed.

Clement is survived by his wife of 22 years, Julie Cristin Weber McKinney; sons, Noah McKinney and Isaiah McKinney; daughter, Karah McKinney; and brothers, Leo McKinney, Tim McKinney, Lenny McKinney and Tony McKinney.

In addition to his parents, Clement was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Topsail Baptist Church, 18885 US Hwy 17N, Hampstead, NC, with Pastor Ron Weber, Pastor John Weber and Pastor Bryan Griffith officiating.
