It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Cody Steven Williams, age 34, a cherished son, husband, daddy, brother and friend on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Cody was born May 8, 1990, in Wilmington, a beacon of light, strength, and laughter to everyone who knew him. Cody was the son of Robert "Bobby" H. Williams, Jr. and Michelle Mallory Garrison and her husband, Rick.

In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by his wife, Melanie Eaton Williams; children, Joshua Williams, Kadon Williams, Christian Williams and Sadie Williams; brothers, Philip Blake and Jason Williams; sisters, Michelle Brock and Brianna Rose; best friend, Joe Speights. Cody was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Blake.

Cody was the owner and operator of Cody's Automotive Repair Service, better known as CARS. He was an amazing mechanic, could and did fix anything on wheels.

Cody enjoyed fishing as well as family trips. He was an awesome husband, dad, son, and brother who dearly loved his family. His presence in our lives will be greatly missed.
