On January 31, 2013, Colton Tillman Richardson, born to Brandy Elkins entered this world a 7lb. 8oz. precious baby boy. Colton brought joy and love into the hearts of his parents, grandparents, and many loved ones. Colton went to be with the angels on June 2, 2013.

Colton is survived by his mother, Brandy Nicole Elkins (Brandon Drinkwater); his grandparents, Angela Marvenia Elkins and Brian Sarvis; great grandparents, Barbara Elkins, Jimmy Dickens, Fred Ferguson (Pat) and Ricky Sarvis (Wanda); aunts, Summer Elkins, Hailey Elkins and Ann Malpass (Steve); and many caring extended family.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Long Creek Baptist Church, 5131 Malpass Corner Road, Burgaw, NC 28425. Following the visitation a graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Malpass Memorial Cemetery at Long Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Bateman officiating.

To Mom, grandparents and aunts, What a glorious place heaven is. God took me in his loving arms and cares for me as I hear the angels sing lullabies to me. I will grow and run and play with all the little angels and God will take care of me. God will take care of you too. A day will come when we will meet again ... love, smile and remember I am fine and you will be too. Bunches of love, Colton.

Colton's last gift to this world was the gift of life to someone because his parents chose to proceed with organ donation.
